Jeanette Harrill

SHELBY: Jeanette Wyatt Harrill, 77, went to be with her Lord on August 6, 2024 at Atrium Health Cleveland, surrounded by her family. Jeanette was a lifelong member of Flint Hill Baptist Church where she served in different roles over the years, and was a member of the Fellowship Sunday School Class. She enjoyed a brief career in banking, then dedicated herself to full-time motherhood and homemaking. She enjoyed reading, traveling and spending an evening on the front porch rocking. Her greatest joy was being surrounded by her family. Jeanette was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and sister. She was preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Sylvia Wyatt; and a brother, Steve Wyatt. She is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Dean Harrill, of the home; daughter, Deana Harrill and friend Angie Smith of Greenville; sons, Brandon Harrill and wife Stefanie of Shelby and Kent Harrill and wife LyKeria of Gaffney; grandchildren, Jada Harrill, Payton Harrill, Levi Harrill, Colton Harrill and an expected granddaughter, Olivia Jeanette Harrill; brother, Oren Wyatt and wife Vickie; sisters, Debbie Wyatt Dyer and husband Walt and Diane Weaver and husband Sam; several nieces and nephews; and special family, Tina and Frank Gettys and Heather Slaton. A celebration of her life will be held on 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 10, 2024 at Flint Hill Baptist Church with the Revs. Shane Kirby and Keith Dixon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, in the church.
