Jeanette Perry

SHELBY – Jeanette Mauney Perry, 90, passed away Sunday, January 24, 2016 at Testa Family Hospice House in Kings Mountain.
She was born February 12, 1925, in Cleveland County, the daughter of the late Iva Champion Mauney and the late Thomas Boyce Mauney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Perry, her son, PFC Jimmy Pearson, a brother, John Mauney, and a sister, Mary Jolley. She is survived by a son, Tommy Pearson and wife Creola, and a sister, Fran Davis and husband Sam, grandsons Jimmy and wife Val, Chuck and wife Ally, and 4 great grandchildren Mckinley, Ty, Tanner and Gage.
She was a member of Cliffside Baptist Church and retired as a bookkeeper for National Heritage Inc., Anderson SC. While in Anderson she attended Crossway Community Church.
A celebration of life service will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, January 29, 2016 in the chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, officiated by the Rev. Buddy Morehead.
Interment will be held at Cleveland Memorial Park.
