Jeffery Stewart

KINGS MOUNTAIN: Jeff Stewart, 64, died Saturday, June 22, 2024 at his home. Born in Connecticut on November 5, 1959, he was the son of the late Charles and Della Dobbins Stewart. Jeff was a member of Cornerstone Church of God. He enjoyed studying history, his Bible, and spending time gardening and with his family. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Roger Stewart. He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Anita Stroupe Stewart of the home; daughter, Heather Wells of Shelby; sons, Jeff Stewart Jr. and Josh Stewart, both of Kings Mountain; and grandchildren, Tyler Wells, Halee Wells and Gage Stewart. Funeral services will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 2, 2024 at Cornerstone Church of God with Pastor John Freeman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, in the church. Burial will follow the service in Mountain Rest Cemetery. Funeral services are entrusted to Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and Aquamation in Kings Mountain.
