Jerri Short

YORK, SC- Jerri Lynn Groner Short, 60 of 9076 Kings Drive, passed away Sunday October 18, 2015 at Carolinas Healthcare Systems – Kings Mountain. A native of Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late Jack Allen and Joyce Morgan Groner. She was a stay at home wife.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her husband Preston Short of the home; one daughter, Tina Teague, granddaughter Courtney Teague of Kings Mountain; two sons, Travis Short of Winston Salem and Shane Short and wife Stephanie of Kings Mountain; three sisters, Marsha Davis and husband John of Dallas, NC, Ann Burton and husband Buddy of Gastonia, Kim Allbright and husband Richie of Texas; two brothers, Michael Groner of Gastonia, Brian Groner and wife Karen of Yorktown, VA; twelve additional grandchildren; eight nieces and nephews; her beloved and rotten Beagle, JJ, who stayed by her side faithfully.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held 11:00 am Wednesday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.

VISITATION: The family will receive friend Tuesday evening from 6:00 pm – 8:00 pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain and other times at the home her son Shane, 303 Edgemont Drive Kings Mountain NC 28086.
