KINGS MOUNTAIN- Jerry Wayne Adams, 72, passed away Friday March 25, 2016 at his residence. A native of St. Louis, MO, he was the son of the late Paul and Eve Adams. He served our country two tours in Vietnam as a United States Marine, serving in Operation Tet Offensive and six years in the National Guard.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his sister, Doris.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his wife, Belinda Rathbone Adams of the home; two sons, Shane Adams and wife Sherryl and Chad Adams all of Kings Mountain; one sister, Beverly Jones of Oregon; three grandchildren, Tiffany Poarch and husband Kyle, Brandy Adams, and Haley Adams; one great grandchild, Bryce.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held at 2pm, Tuesday in the chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain with a visitation one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
CLERGY: Rev. Eddie Gray will officiate
INTERNMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery.
