Jerry R. Bishop

SHELBY-Jerry R. Bishop, 76, died Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, at his home. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Charles and Edna Carter Bishop. Jerry served in the Army, and was a member of Westwood Heights Baptist Church, where he loved his church family.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his stepson, Michael Dendy and wife Teresa.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Bishop, of the home; stepson, Phillip Dendy and wife Wendy of Fallston; stepdaughter, Tonya Coleman and husband Bradley of Shelby; step grandchildren, Connor and Kaylee Dendy, Ezra and Olivia Coleman

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the church

MEMORIAL SERVICES: Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, 12pm, at Westwood Heights Baptist Church.

OFFICIATING: Rev. David Costner will officiate
