SHELBY- Mr. Jerry Eugene Ellis, 66, of 206 College Ave., died Wed. Oct. 19, 2011 at Carolina’s Medical Center. A native of Cleveland Co. he was the son of the late Clayton and Mary Waters Ellis. He was a member of Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church and retired from Kosa as a supervisor.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Ellen Emory Ellis; daughter, Angela Seals; grandson, Peyton Seals, all of the home; sister, Toni Humphries and husband Dan of Shelby; four brother and sister-in-laws, Ronnie Emory and wife Judy, Rachel Proctor and husband Phillip, Ann Keller and husband Robert, Joyce Bridges and husband Charles, all of Shelby.
SERVICES: 4pm Friday at Pleasant Ridge Baptist Church
VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the church, and other times at the home.
