SHELBY-James “Jim” Robert Foster, 70, died Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Minnehaha County, SD, he was the son of the late Robert and Helen Steffie Foster. He served in the Army, worked as a process engineer, and was a loving husband, father, and a huge animal lover.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Karen Foster; and step-daughter, Dawn Carpenter.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife Katherine Foster, of the home; sons, Jeremy Foster of Minn., and Steven Foster and wife Melissa of Shelby; granddaughter, Natalie Foster; and step-grandson, Raelin Carpenter Ledbetter.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be private to the family.
