Jo Lee

SHELBY- Mrs. Betty “Jo” Davis Lee, 83, died Sat., Aug. 6, 2011 at Asbury Care Center in Charlotte. A native of Gaston Co., she was the daughter of the late Oscar and Katherine Ruth Lane Davis. She was a member of Aldersgate U.M.C., Welcome Wagon Bridge Club of Shelby, and Leaksville U.M.C. in Eden. She enjoyed playing Golf, Bridge, and Tennis.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lincoln Durand Lee; brother, Jim Davis; and sister, Wilimena Mascarri.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Muller and husband Mark of Charlotte; son, Kent Lee and wife Alicia of Claremont, CA; brother, Oscar L. Davis Jr. and wife Rachel of Greenville, SC; six grandchildren, Matthew, Christopher and Melissa Lee, Jessica Kincaid and husband Scott, Andrew and Christian Muller; two great grandchildren, Elizabeth and Bishop Kincaid.


SERVICES: 2PM, Wednesday at Aldersgate U.M.C.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the church

BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Sunset Cemetery
