John Testerman

KINGS MOUNTAIN- Mr. John Dee Testerman, 85, died Tues., Sept. 3, 2013 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Smyth County, VA, he was the son of the late Dewey and Cleo Dishner Testerman. He was a retired truck driver.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Charles Nelson Testerman; and sister Ruby Chudoba.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his special friend and companion of 30 years, Shirley Mathis of Kings Mountain; daughter, Judy Ferrell and husband John of Dublin, VA; two sisters, Betty Miller and Mollie Tilson and husband Tommy, all of Marion, VA; brother, James Testerman and wife June of Greensboro; three grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

GRAVESIDE SERVICES: Friday, 11AM, at Mountain Rest Cemetery

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Friday, 10-10:45AM, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.
