SHELBY- Mr. John Junior Rhinehardt, 59, of 2116 Dana Place, died Tuesday, May 30, 2006 at home.
MEMORIAL SERVICE: 2:00 P.M., Saturday, June 3, 2006, at Putnam Memorial Baptist Church
BURIAL: Cleveland Memorial Park.
VISITATION: Saturday, June 3, 2006 from 1-2:00pm at the church.
PERSONAL HISTORY: Born in Catawba County, NC to the late John Ray and Martha Bumgarner Rhinehardt. He was a self-employed upholsterer and was formerly employed by the Clyde A. Short Co and Anvil Knitware. He was a member of Putnam Memorial Baptist Church and an avid hunter and fisherman who loved the outdoors.
PRECEDED IN DEATH BY: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Betty L. Hubbard Rhinehardt and his second wife, Ruth Clary Rhinehardt.
SURVIVORS: Wife, Delores Sharpe Rhinehardt of the home; five sons, Randy Rhinehardt of Cherryville; Shawn Rhinehardt and his wife Rebecca of Shelby; Eddie Childers of Marion; Devon Myers and Jim Staley, both of Shelby; four daughters, Sherry Whitt and husband Jim of Pacolet, SC; Sheila Harrelson and husband Allen of Cherryville; Dawn Rhinehardt of Shelby; and Susie Gambill and husband Danny of Dillon, SC; three sisters, Elsie Eckard and husband Robert of Catawba; Linda Eckard and husband Donald of Statesville; and Faye Cash of Newton; twelve grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
