John Lawrence Reynolds

SHELBY- Mr. John Lawrence Reynolds, 83, of 107 Catalina Ct., died Thursday, Oct. 16, 2008 at Cleveland Regional Medical Center. A native of Calhoune County, Alabama, he was a son to the late John Parris and Flossie Bice Reynolds. John served in the Army during WWII and was called to active duty during the Korean War. He retired from Pan American Airways after 30 years in the maintance Department. He was a former captain of the Civil Air Patrol Shelby Composite Squadron. He was also a member of the “OX5 Aviation Pioneer”.
He is survived by his wife, Jean Kendrick Greene Reynolds of Shelby; daughter, Jennifer Short and husband Mike; grandson, Jeffrey Harris all of Hollywood, Fl.
A Memorial Service will be held Sunday 2 pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel
The Family will receive friends following the service
Chaplain Lt. Col. Joe Edwards will be officiating
