Johnnie Dianne Capps

GROVER: Johnnie Dianne Capps, 71, died Thursday July 4, 2019 at Mercy Hospital in Charlotte. A native of Mecklenburg Co., she was born to the late John and Pearl Wellman Green. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She loved to take in strays, both animal and people. She became a caregiver to anyone who needed it. Even though she had many health battles the last several years, she was a strong woman with a huge heart. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son James Dean Green and infant daughter Jeannie. She is survived by her loving husband of 40 years, Danny “Weasle” Capps, of the home, daughters Cindy Evans and husband Kenneth of Rock Hill and Talina Roberts and husband Thomas of Dallas; grandchildren Tiffany Boone, Travis Robinson, Shannon Robbins, Joshua Evans, Kenneth Evans, Jr., Michael Bingham, Lee Huss, Amanda Vonador, Brittany Mathis and Scotty Vanador; great grandchildren Bryonna, Alexia, Mariah, Dalton, Shawn, Mikaela, Charlee, Zachary, Sophie, Destiny, Able, Cody, James, Jason, Savannah, Chelsee, Harmony, Landon, Mackenzie, Caleb, Cheyenne, Dylan, Trevon, Khirsten, Kaylee, Karmen, Makinzy and Austin. A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain. Rev. Don McNeely, officiating
