Joseph Carl Mcclellan

SHELBY- Mr. Joseph “Carl” McClellan, 97, formerly of Hillwood Drive, died Friday, February 11, 2011 at Peak Resources. A native of Sumter, SC, he was the son of the late Arthur Benjamin and Gertrude Hatcher McClellan.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Edna King McClellan; and brothers Roy and J.D. McClellan.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his son, Jerry Ansel McClellan and wife Joan; grandchildren Tamara Ann McClellan and Philip Ansel McClellan and wife Teresa all of Shelby; great grandchildren, Treka L. Davis and husband Steve of Salisbury and Philip Ansel McClellan IIof Raleigh; six great grandchildren, Elizabeth, Tiffany, Samantha, Tayla, Tristan, and Isabella Davis, all of Salisbury; and brother John Alonzo McClellan of Drayton, S.C..
SERVICES: 3pm, Saturday, February 12, 2011, at Clay-Barnette Chapel.
VISITATION: one hour prior to the service, and other times at the home of her son, Jerry, 108 Columns Circle, Shelby, 28150.

BURIAL: immediately following in Cleveland Memorial Park
