Joyce Borders

SHELBY- Mrs. Joyce Pearson Borders, 66, of 413 James Love School Rd., went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on Aug. 17, 2012 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. She looked with joyous anticipation in reuniting with her children, Terry and Timothy, in their heavenly home. She was a native of Cleveland Co., daughter of the late Doyle Newton and Shirley Bridges Pearson. She had a love for camping, traveling, fishing, playing cards, and shopping. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Terry Ann Borders, son, Timothy Doyle Borders

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Charles Ronald Borders of the home; two sons, Christopher Charles Borders and partner Colt Billiot of Shelby, Keith Newton Borders and wife Sharon of Rock Hill, SC; sister, Gertrude Ledbetter and husband Leon of Shelby; two grandchildren, Hannah and Pearson Borders of Rock Hill.

SERVICES: Sunday, 3:00pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Sunday, 1:30-3:00pm at the funeral home, and other times at the home.
