Joyce Roberson

SHELBY: Joyce Clardy Roberson, 71, died Friday, October 14, 2022 at her home. Born in Greenville County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Holmer and Myrtle Davis Clardy. Joyce loved the beach, reading and her family. She is survived by her daughter, Kristie Richards and husband John of Shelby and Brandi Allen and boyfriend Billy Terry of Boiling Spring; sons, Michael Allen and wife Suzanne of Shelby, Adam Roberson and husband Bryant Craig of Charlotte and Benjamin Roberson of Shelby; sister, Cheri Parton and husband Alan of Spartanburg; brother, Danny Clardy of Greenville, SC; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held 3:00pm, Wednesday, October 19, 2022 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Atrie Hubbard officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
