SHELBY- Mrs. Judith Eva Henze, 87 of 2068 Stoneview Circle, passed away Thursday, October 27, 2011 at The Carolina House in Forest City, NC. A native of Berlin Germany, she was the daughter of the late Edwald and Frieda Eichstaedt Lietz. She was a loving mother and a special friend.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Karl Fredric Henze.
SURVIVED: She is survived by one daughter, Monika Henze Pruitt of the home; one brother, Michael Lietz and wife Anne of Hannever Germany; two niceses, Pettina and Astrid of Hannever Germany; one nephew, Charles John Atkins of Lenoir, NC; cousin, marine Krohn and children Carola and Ursula of Hamburg, Germany; very special friends, Izabella Jablonski and husband Krzstof of Shelby; her two loving dogs, Mucky and Trouble. Special thanks to Dr. Kneisle and nurse Karen Weidener for their continuing and excellent care they gave to Mrs. Henze. A special thanks goes to the staff of The Carolina House in Forest City for the care they gave during her final days and to Monika’s CRMC WCS family for their support during this difficult time.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Sunday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby Chapel. A celebration of life will be held after the service at Monika’s home, 2068 Stoneview Circle in Shelby.
