Judy Bonita Ashe

SHELBY- Bonita Ashe, 75, died Friday, April 27, 2018 at Atrium Health-Shelby. A native of Rutherford Co., she was born to the late Frank and Ola White Greene. She loved dancing and singing karaoke with her Moose Lodge family in Gastonia. She also enjoyed playing cards and reading in her chair.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ernest Ashe; son Chris Ashe, Sr.; sisters, Faye Norman and Carolyn Gosey; and brother Bobby Joe Greene.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her son, Tommy Ashe and wife Susan of Kings Mountain; sister Eloise Blanton of Forest City; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great great grandchild; daughter-in-law Tammy Ashe; and numerous nieces and nephews.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 PM Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.

FUNERAL SERVICES: will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, April 30, 2018 in the chapel of Clay-Barnette.

BURIAL: will follow the service at Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery
