FOREST CITY- Judith Ann Goforth, 70, of 244 Piney Ridge Road, passed away Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Rutherford Hospice House. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of Pauline Jones Howell and the late Thomas Grover Howell, Jr.
PRECEDED: In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by her first husband Jack Gantt and her second husband, James Morrison.
SURVIVED: She is survived by one son, James D. Morrison, Jr. and wife Gina of Sandy Mush; two daughters, Jackie Buckner and husband Stevie and Ann Matheney and husband Jimmy both of Spindale; one sister, Cathy York and husband Skip of Lawndale; one brother, Tom Howell of Spindale; seven grandchildren, Josh Buckner and wife Beth, Clint Buckner, Jill Crummie and husband Reid, Randi Baker and husband Steven, Kurt Morrison, Chad Matheney and wife Erin, and Kyle Matheney; and four great grandchildren.
SERVICES: A memorial service will be held 3:00 pm Saturday, at Spindale Church of the Brethren.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
CLERGY: Revs. Perry Jones and George Brice.
MEMORIALS: In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rutherford Hospice, P O Box 336, Forest City, NC 28043. The family has requested that no flowers be sent only memorials please.
