NORTH AUGUSTA, SC: Judy Decker Philbeck, 69, went to her heavenly home Friday, November 12, 2021 under hospice care. Born in Saginaw, MI, she was the daughter of the late Burton Clair Decker Sr. and Shirley Ann Blais Decker. Judy worked as a Project Controls Engineer at Savannah River Site. She enjoyed playing the fiddle, bowling and her four precious grandchildren were her pride and joy. They enjoyed spending time together in their pool, doing make overs and decorating cookies. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Burt Decker Jr. She is survived by her husband of 39 years, Jim Philbeck of North Augusta, SC; daughter, Sandy Ingraham and husband Rob of Peachtree City, GA; son, Matthew Pearson and wife Tracy of Wyoming, MI; sisters, Sally Shaffer and husband Dave of Midland, MI, Donna Holstein and husband Garry of Norristown, PA and Peggy Smith of OR; and grandchildren, Dylan, Jordan, Noah and Emma. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM, Friday, November 19, 2021 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Richard Stroup officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
