Katherine Juanita Wright Crow

ELLENBORO- Mrs. Katherine Juanita Wright Crow, 86, a resident of Fair Haven Home in Bostic, formally of Shelby, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013. A native of Burke County, she was born May 3, 1927, daughter of the late Eugene James and Eva Viola Smith Wright. She was a former member of Shelby Missionary Church and a current member of Caroleen Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, B D Crow, Jr.; one daughter, Deborah Sue Crow; one brother, Charles Wright; three half brothers, Erwin, Tom, And Bob Williams.

SURVIVED: She is survived by one son, Dixon Eugene Crow and wife Teresa of Ellenboro; one sister, Evelyn Wright of Sumter, SC; one brother, Dwight M. Wright and wife Maggie of Nashville, TN; one grandchild, Heather Crow Ensley and husband Miles of Cliffside; one great grandchild, Miles South Ensley.

SERVICES: A funeral service will be held 2:00 pm Saturday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel of Shelby.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Friday evening from 7:00 – 9:00 pm at the funeral home and other times at the home of her son, Dixon, at 176 Raleigh Ledbetter Road in Ellenboro.

BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Sunset Cemetery
