SHELBY- Mrs. Katherine Elizabeth Jones, 98, died Thursday, March 31, 2011, at White Oak Manor. A native of Perquimas County, she was the daughter of the late James Thomas and Elizabeth Elliot Britt. Katherine was a member of Poplar Springs Baptist Church.
PRECEDED: In addition to her brothers, she is preceded in death by her husband Forest Jones and 7 Brothers and sisters.
SURVIVED: She is survived by her brother Julian C. Britt and wife Colzie of Houston, TX.
SERVICES: Services will be held, Sunday, 2pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends 30 min. prior to the service.

BURIAL: Private Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery.
