SHELBY — Mrs. Kathleen Holden Campbell, 93, of 401 N. Morgan Street, died
Sunday, Nov. 23, 2008, at White Oak Manor.
A native of Greenville County, S.C., she was a daughter of the late Carl
and Mary Lee Couch Holden. She retired from the Burlington Mill in
Henrietta and was a member of Dover Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband,
Clarence “Spur” Henry Campbell; her daughter, Mary Nalley and husband,
Harold; her sister, Marie Hollifield; and her brothers, James Holden and
Hugh Lee Holden.
She is survived by her step-son, Henry Campbell and wife, Texann, of
Greer, S.C.; two grandsons, James Nalley of Sellersville, Pa. and Tony
Nalley and wife, Sonya, of Shelby; step-grandson, Mike Campbell of
Wilmington; step-granddaughter, Pam Campbell Stroud of Denver, Colo.;
great-grandson, Austin Nalley; great-granddaughter, Brittany Nalley; two
brothers, Roy Holden of Newport News, Va. and Ralph Holden of Riverdale,
Ga.; sister, Hazel Alvis of Lenoir; sister-in-law, Trudy Holden of
Missouri; and two special friends, Betty Whaley and Martha Sparks.
