Kathy Hooper Hamrick

MOORESBORO- Kathy Hooper Hamrick, 63, died Wednesday July 19, 2017 at her residence. A native of Cleveland Co., she was born to the late Richard and Corene Putnum Hooper. She retired from PPG after 37 years of service. She loved going to the mountains and caring for all of her special fur babies. She was a loving wife, mother, mother-in-law and grandmother.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Charles Hamrick, of the home; sons Kevin Hamrick of Longview, Tx and Kenneth Hamrick and wife Cindy of Cherryville; daughter Jessica Ivie and husband Travis of Shelby; grandchildren Adam, Dylan, Hunter, Tucker and Lauryn; numerous nephews; and special family friends Alfred Willis, Christopher Coggins, and Ronnie Lytle.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends from Sunday, July 23, 2017 from 3-5:00 PM at the funeral home.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Monday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel of Shelby.

OFFICIATING: Rev. Tim Hendrick will be officiating

BURIAL: Internment will be at Cleveland Memorial Park immediately following the service
