SHELBY-Keith M. Hartley, 80, died Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2015 at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Watauga County, he was the son of the late Ernest and Dorsey Matney Hartley. Keith served in the Army, was a member of First Baptist Church, and worked for McLean Trucking for 27 years, later retiring from Carolina Freight. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Carolyn Bulla.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his loving wife of 60 years, Becky Hartley, of the home; son, Terry Hartley and wife Donna of Kings Mountain; daughters, Amy Hartley and boyfriend Brian Hollifield, and Debbie Vaughan, all of Shelby; sisters, Evelyn Grigg of Morganton, Joyce Hampton of Boone, and Kay Fletcher and husband Bob of Hickory; brother, Ansel Hartley and wife Betty of Shelby; grandchildren, Casey Vaughan and wife Ansley of Shelby; and two great-grandchildren.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held Sunday, 3pm, at First Baptist Church Webb Chapel
VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at Webb Chapel
BURIAL: Burial will be 10 am, Monday, in Cleveland Memorial Park
