Ken Short

BESSEMER CITY- Mr. Kenneth Gene Short, 67, of 106 Northwoods Drive, passed away Friday March 22, 2013 at Carolinas Medical Center. A native of Cleveland County, he was born March 30, 1945, son of the late Paul and Della Barnes Short.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two brothers, Ray and Jerry Short.

SURVIVED: He is survived by three sons, Mike Short and wife Tammy of Belmont, Joey Short of Bessemer City and Tony Short of Gastonia; two daughters, Kelli Kendrick and husband Phillip of Bowling Green, KY, and Melissa Short of Gastonia; one sister, Sandi Wright and husband Steve of Grover; one brother, Don Short and wife Dot of Shelby; eleven grandchildren; six great grandchildren.

SERVICES: A memorial service will be held Monday at 2:00 pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
