Kenneth Francis

SHELBY: Kenneth “Grumpy” Francis, 65, died Saturday, October 26, 2024 at Atrium Health Cleveland. He was the son of the late Robert and Marilyn Francis. Kenneth was a family man who loved riding motorcycles, was a member of the CCIB for 20 years, and loved his dogs that he had throughout his life. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his brothers, Marty Francis and Tony Pitchford. He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Robyn Francis; sons, Clayton Paul Francis of Shelby and Jeffrey Scott Johnston and wife Shelon of Concord; daughter, Emily Marilyn Francis of Forest City; sister, Debra Francis Mellon and husband Gary of Lattimore; grandchildren, Jordan Johnston and Cannon Johnston; and special aunt, Susie Bowling. A gathering of friends will be held from 11:00 AM to 1:00PM Saturday November 2, 2024, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
