SHELBY: Kenneth “NUB” Marvin Phillips, 80, died Wednesday, April 8, 2020, at Cardinal Healthcare of Lincolnton. A Native of Cherokee County, SC, he was the son of the late Felix and Ruby Cartrell Phillips. He retired from Kemet after many years. He is survived by His daughters, Karen Frazier and husband Jeff of Henrietta, Connie Phillips and husband Bo Meeks of Grover; grandchildren, Scott Lowery and wife Alaina and Kalyn Barbosa and husband Jr.; Nephew Jerry Keith Hendrick.
