KINGS MOUNTAIN.- Mr. Kenneth Ware Black Sr., 71, of 306 Kaitlyn Lane, died Sunday, February 5, 2012 at his home. A native of Mecklenburg County, he was the son of the late Sam and Helen Ware Black. He owned and operated Carolina Medical Supply and a member of Victory Life Assembly of God in Cherryville.

PRECEDED: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Frances Gailey Black; son Ricky Black.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his son, Ken Black Jr. and wife Shandra of Hickory;sister, Dianne Broome of Denver; 4 grandchildren, Cody Black of Denver, Dakota Black of Kings Mountain, and Taylor and Jordan Black, both of Hickory; two nieces, Sondi Broome and Rex McKinney, and Edie Carroll and Wayne, all of Denver.

SERVICES: Thursday, 3pm, at Victory Life Assembly of God, Cherryville

VISITATION: The family will receive friends, Wednesday, 6:30-8pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain

BURIAL: Cherryville City Cemetery
