Larry Lovelace

SHELBY: Larry Junior Lovelace, 76, died Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at Atrium Health in Shelby. A native of Cleveland County, he was the son of the late Woodford and Venie Emory Lovelace. Larry retired from Maco after many years of service. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Sylvia Bridges Lovelace; grandson, Jesse; special uncle, Richard Hayes; and special niece, Gina Bennett. He is survived by his daughters, Lisa Lovelace and Michelle Dixon; grandchildren, Justin and wife Sarah Ann, Lily, Lucas and Oliva Wingo; sister, Daisy Ramsey and husband Larry; special nephew, Tedd Webb; girlfriend, Carol Mayhue; special friends and fishing buddies, Dennis Jones and Keith Miller; and his fur babies he loved dearly, Cutie Pie and Pierre.
