KINGS MOUNTAIN- Larry “Willie” Williams, 68, of 126 Cricket Drive, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family Sunday, July 27, 2014 at Carolinas Medical Center. A native of Cleveland county he was born April 19, 1946 son of the late Homer and Madge White Williams. He was the owner of Williams Services.
PRECEDED: In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by one daughter, Shelly Williams Naman; two sisters, Ellen Cook and Faye Butler; Three brothers, Larstin, John Homer, Jr., and Harold Williams.
SURVIVED: He is survived by his precious wife, Ruth Beaver Williams of the home; one daughter, Jackie Gimple and husband Jack of Kings Mountain; two step-daughters, Jenny Lail and husband Donavan of Shelby, Betty Rhyne and husband Robert of Gastonia; one sister, Dorothy Tessener of Shelby; three brothers, William R. Williams and wife Dot of Shelby, Bobby Eugene Williams and Paul Williams and wife Lucille both of Kings Mountain; eight grand and step grandchildren, Jonathan Dixon, Amber Hutchins, Matthew and Jacob Williams, Dylan Price, Haden Price, Junior and Stephanie Rhyne; four great grandchildren, Austyn and Colt Dixon, Javian Hutchins, and Jeremiah Williams.
SERVICES: A funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday at New Camp Creek Baptist Church.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church
CLERGY: Rev. Richard Stroup will officiate
BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow on Willie’s property at 126 Cricket lane in Kings Mountain.
