MOORESBORO- Mrs. Linda Ivie Johnson, 62, of 3415 Katie Lane, died Sunday, July 11, 29, 2010 at home. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Rufus Nathaniel Jr. and Nell Elizabeth Jones Ivie. Mrs. Johnson was a member of Zoar Baptist Church. She will also be remembered as a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sister Betsy Tice.
SURVIVED: She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Robert “Sonny” Johnson Sr., of the home; three sons Renn Long of Shelby, Robert Johnson Jr. and wife Raquel of Forest City, and James Johnson and wife Lisa of Hawaii; two daughters, Kellie Long Adair and Gene Cash of Mooresboro and Stacy Davis; three brothers Butch Ivie and wife Suzanne of Shelby, Ron Ivie and wife Barbara of Lattimore, Les Ivie and wife Sheila of Polkville; 10 grandchildren and one special grandson, Brandon Adair of Mooresboro; and brother-in-law Charles Tice of Winston-Salem.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends, Tuesday, 6-7:30pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home at other times at the home.
SERVICES: Services will be held, Wednesday, 1pm, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.
BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
