Lindia Costner

SHELBY – Lindia Evelyn Brown Costner, moved to her home in Heaven, Thursday, Nov. 3rd, 2016. She was born November 16, 1943 in Rutherfordton NC, to the late Dewey and Velma Padgett Brown. She was married to the late Larry J. Costner. Mrs. Costner worked at Hoechst Celanese in Earl, NC for many years. She also worked at Kemet Electronics of Shelby as a supervisor until her retirement. She was a member of Westwood Heights Baptist Church, where she enjoyed serving in Vacation Bible School and co-teaching the Ladies Sunday school class.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her son Rev. David Costner and wife Angie of Shelby; one grandson Jonathan and her beloved cat Snuggles.

FUNERAL SERVICES: Funeral services will be held at 4 pm, Sunday November 6th,at Westwood Heights Baptist Church of Shelby.

VISITATION: The family will begin receiving friends at 2:30 pm before the service in the church sanctuary.

OFFICIATING: The Rev. David Rabb will officiate

BURIAL: will be held at Sunset Cemetery.
