SHELBY- Mrs. Louise Turner Lee, 75, of 1143 Costner Rd., died Tuesday, Oct., 5th, 2010 at her home. A native of Cherokee County, SC, she was the daughter of the late Jim and Eunice Bell Turner. Louise retired from the Esther Mill and was an avid canner and enjoyed making pies for her family.



PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her five sisters; one brother; a grandson Little Donnie; and a great granddaughter Rebecca Hamrick.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, L.B. Lee of the Home; four sons Robert Lee and Mary Smith, Bones Lee, Roy Lee and wife Deborah, and Timmy Lee and wife Sherry, all of Shelby; three daughters Faye Bridges of Shelby, Syble Crane and husband Keith of Asheville, and Ellen Pruett and husband David of Casar; two sisters Betty Martin of Grover, and Elizabeth Ann of Shelby.

SERVICES: 1 pm Friday, October 8th, 2010 at Ledford Grove Baptist Church. The body will be placed in the church 30 minutes prior to the service.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends 6-7:30pm Thursday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, and other times at the home.
