Louise Moore

SHELBY: Betty “Louise” Moore, 78, died Thursday, January 20, 2022 at her home. Born in Buncombe County, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Glenie Lunsford Payne. Louise worked as a CNA in home health. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Reece Moore; and sisters, Nancy Harris and Barbara Dorlan. She is survived by her sons, Reece C. Moore and wife Lisa of Boiling Springs and Adam Parker and wife Miranda of Rutherfordton; daughters, Patty Shepard and husband Billy of Patterson Springs, Carrie Vanburen and Mark Garrison of Kings Mountain and Theresa Bridges of Vale; brothers, Monroe Payne and wife Melva of Black Mountain and Larry Harwood and wife Amanda of Asheville; 6 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends 2:00-3:30PM, Sunday, January 23, 2022 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home in Shelby.
