Louise Panther

GROVER-Mary Louise Panther, 93, died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2016, at Hospice at Wendover. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late John and Ada Hayes. She retired from textiles.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Clifford Panther; son, Johnny Emory; sisters, Ruby Emory, Ellen Emory, and Tiny Martin


SURVIVED: She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Shirley Emory of Grover; brother, Tommy Hayes and wife Pat of Shelby; grandchildren, Horace Emory of Grover, and Wanda Acuff and husband David of Grover; great-grandchildren, Kyle Acuff (her special grandson), of Grover, Colt Acuff and wife Kenzie of Grover, Mandy Thackerson and husband Josh of Shelby; great-great-grandchildren, Hayden Parker, Ally, Brody, and Colby Thackerson, and Willow Ivester

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.

SERVICES: Funeral services will be held 2pm, Tuesday, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

OFFICIATING: The Rev. Dr. J. Barry Goodman will officiate

BURIAL: will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery

MEMORIALS: Hospice of Cleveland County, 951 Wendover Heights Dr., Shelby, NC 28150
