Louise Wray

SHELBY- Mrs. Ocie Louise Wray, 73, of 340 Crow Rd., died Wed., Nov. 2nd, 2011 at Carolina’s Medical Center. A native of Cleveland Co., she was the daughter of the late Graham and Rosie Lee Thomas Hamrick. She retired from Fox Mountain Weavers and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold Wray; daughter in law Mary Wray; two brothers, Graham Hamrick Jr., Robert Hamrick; and sister Bessie Goins.

SURVIVED: She is survived her daughter, Barbara Martin and husband James of Shelby; three sons, Steve Wray and wife Wanda of Kings Mountain, Dale Wray, and Joe Wray, both of Shelby; five sisters, Faye Mullinax and husband John of Gaffney, Ellen Quinn, Margaret Martin and husband James, all of Rock Hill, Mildred Williams and husband Rodney of Charlotte, Hilda Elliott and husband Bob of Polkville; brother Dennis Hamrick and wife Carolyn of Polkville; Six grandsons; and 17 great grandchildren.


SERVICES: 3pm, Friday, at Faith Baptist Church.

VISITATION: 1:30-3:00pm, Friday, at Faith Baptist Church, and other times at her home.

CLERGY: Revs. Johnny Owens and Billy Boone

BURIAL: Burial will immediately follow in the church cemetery.
