KINGS MOUNTAIN- Mrs. Louise Fowler Yelton, 83, of 107 South Oakwood Drive, died Tuesday, April 27, 2010 at home. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late, Jack Thomas Sr. and Effie Laura McKee Fowler. She was a member of Springwood Freewill Baptist Church in Belmont.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Jesse Berry Yelton and her brother Jack Thomas Fowler Jr..
SURVIVED: she is survived by her daughter Lynn Richards and husband Keith of Kings Mountain; two sisters Maude Greene of Shelby, and Margaret Ellis of Mobile, Alabama; three granddaughters, Melissa Kale and husband Jeff of Hickory, Tammy Hoffman and husband Ross and Ashley Kimray, all of Belmont; six great grandchildren, Brandon, Cameron, and Emily Kale, Lexie, and Matthew Hoffman, and Leilah Kimray; and one sister in law, Frances Fowler of Shelby.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends Thursday, April 29, 6-8pm at Springwood Freewill Baptist Church, Belmont and other times at the home.
SERVICES: Services will be held Friday, April 30, 2pm, at Springwood Freewill Baptist Church, Belmont.
BURIAL: Burial will follow Friday, April 30, 3:30pm, in Sunset Cemetery, Shelby.
MEMORIALS: Memorials may be made to Springwood Freewill Baptist Church, 220 Park Terrace Drive, Belmont, NC 28012
CLERGY: Rev. Jeff Silver will be officiating.
