SHELBY- Mildred Greene, 88, died Wednesday, January 11, 2017, at Peak Resources of Shelby. She was born in Cleveland Co. to the late Zeb and Pearl Franklin Mauney.
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Everett Greene, Jr. and two children.
SURVIVED: She is survived by her sons, Mark Greene and wife Gayla, and Keith Greene and wife Linda, all of Shelby; daughter Teresa Greene of Forest City; and two sisters; six grandchildren.
VISITATION: One hour prior to the service, at the funeral home.
FUNERAL SERVICES: Will be held 12:00 PM, Friday, January 13, 2017, in the chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Shelby.
BURIAL: will be at Sunset Cemetery immediately following the service.
