Lucille Sills

SHELBY – Mrs. Lucille Dillard Sills, 96, died Wed., Nov. 28, 2012 at Cleveland Pines Nursing Center. A native of McDuffie County, GA., she was the daughter of the late Oscar Hamilton and Alice Elizabeth Hurt Dillard. She was a member of Dover Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Sills Sr.; two sisters, Genevieve D. Cloninger and Ollie Mae D. Jamison; brother, J.P. Dillard; and grandson, Jeffrey Sills.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her son, James Robert Sills Jr. and wife Judy of Burlington; daughter, Joan S. McClellan and husband Jerry of Shelby; grandchildren, Tamara McClellan and Phillip McClellan Sr. and wife Teresa, all of Shelby; great-grandchildren, Treka Davis and husband Steve of Salisbury, Philip McClellan II of Raleigh, and Morgan Sills of Knoxville, TN; great-great-grandchildren, Elizabeth, Tiffany, Samantha, Tayla, Tristan and Isabella Davis, all of Salisbury.

SERVICES: Saturday, 11:00am, at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the funeral home, and other times at the home of her daughter, Joan, 108 Column Circle, Shelby.
