Lucy Linebarger

November 17, 1930 — October 28, 2007

SHELBY- Mrs. Lucy Linebarger, 76, of 2523 Oak Grove Rd., died Sunday, October 28, 2007 at home. A native of Cleveland County, she was a daughter of the late Frank and Stevie Brooks McSwain. Mrs. Linebarger previously owned Patterson Florist. She loved her dogs, cats and parrot.

PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Linebarger, and sisters, Betty Kuffel and Vernon Frances McSwain.

SURVIVORS: She is survived by two sisters, Lena Francis of Earl and Vickie Taylor of Shelby; a brother, Toy B. McSwain and wife, Carolyn, of Orlando, Fla; a cousin and caregiver, Ricky Fitch of Shelby; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends October 30, 2007 from 6:00 until 7:30 p.m. at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home and at other times at the home.

FUNERAL: The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, October 31, 2007 at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.

BURIAL: Burial will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.

OFFICIATING CLERGY: Pastor Jerry Brooks of Emmanuel Baptist Church
