Lynn Laude

September 10, 1942 — April 11, 2013

SHELBY – Mrs. Lynn Anne Laude, 70, died Thurs., Apr. 11, 2013 at Kings Mountain Hospice House. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Carl Lee and Addie Davis Gardner. She worked many years as a daycare director, and was active in Community Bible Study, Aldersgate Bible Study, and was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Mozelle Mickal, Mary Lee Gordon; brother, Dean Gardner; and special nephew, Skeeter Wooten.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her loving husband, Jim Laude of the home; three daughters, Susan Laude of Shelby, Kristy Capotosta and husband Peter of Kings Mountain, Shelley Gerald and husband Darrell of Shelby; sister, RaDel Wall of Shelby; six grandchildren, Tony Capotosta and wife Courtney, Kevan and Trevor Capotosta, Everett Laude, Abigail Morehouse, Alexa Jones; and niece, Debbie Wooten of Grover.

SERVICES: 1PM, Monday, at Elizabeth Baptist Church

VISITATION: The family will receive friends Sunday, 3-4:30PM at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, and other times at his home.

CLERGY: Dr. Rit Varriale and Rev. Jeff Brendle

BURIAL: Elizabeth Baptist Church Cemetery
