Macie Conner

KINGS MOUNTAIN — Macie Ramsey Conner, 79, went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday June 1, 2016, surrounded by her family.
She was the daughter of the late Rev. L.E. and Gracie Lee Harlow Ramsey.
She was a wonderful loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. She was a member of Good News Tabernacle in Bessemer City.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, George, Roy, and George W. Ramsey; and a great-grandson, Scotty Hill.
Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Bobby Conner of the home; one son, Dennis Welch and wife Norma Jean; two daughters, Debbie Morrison, Brenda Self and husband Steve; one brother, Gene Ramsey and wife Dorothy; three grandchildren, Angela Hill, Steven Self and wife Lesley, and Brittany Self; one great granddaughter, Haley Hall; her adopted daughter by love not by law, Laquita Watson and best friend Gail Brown.
A funeral service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain, with a visitation two hours prior to the service beginning at noon at the funeral home.
The Rev. Ray Goodson, Pastor of Good News Tabernacle will officiate.
Interment will be at Mountain Rest Cemetery.
