Margaret E. Ledford

SHELBY- Mrs. Margaret Ethel Ledford, 84, of Delta Park Drive, passed away, Tuesday, November 17, 2009 at home. A native of Skelton, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Otey Kelso and Sadie Wheeler Sifers. She retired from The Celanese Corporation and was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking and sewing. A special thanks to all of the doctors and nurses of Hospice of Cleveland County.

PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Norris Ellis Ledford; son David Stover; and an infant brother.

SURVIVORS: She is survived by several cousins; her dog Dollie, which she loved very much; and her caretakers Bobby and Frances Luckado, and Maria Matheson.

VISITATION: The family will receive friends one hour before the service Thursday, November 19, 2009

FUNERAL: A funeral service will be held, Thursday, November 19, 2009, 11am, in the Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.

INTERMENT:. Burial will immediately follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.

CLERGY: Dr. Tony Fulbright will be officiating
