Margaret S. Collins

July 6, 1942 — November 26, 2008

SHELBY - Mrs. Margaret S. Collins, 66, of 1629 Red Road, died Wednesday, Nov. 26, 2008 at home. A native of Cleveland County, she was a daughter to the late George Oliver and Lillian Melton Collins Sisk. She enjoyed acrylic painting. Mrs. Collins attended Ledford Grove Baptist Church and was an active volunteer with the Salvation Army.
PRECEDED IN DEATH: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Forrest Wayne Collins; and brother Jerry Oliver Sisk.

SURVIVORS: She is survived by four daughters, Carol Champion, Lillian C. Howell and husband Frank, Frances Davis, all of Shelby, and Vicky Collins of Earl; a brother A.T. Sisk and wife Linda of Kings Mountain; five grandchildren, Tomika Foster, Kristie Howell, David Wayne Howell all of Shelby, Kandace Smart, and Forrest Wayne Smart, both of Earl; one great-granchild Elizabeth McEntire of Shelby; and step father, Buddy Collins of Kings Mountain.

VISITATION: Friday, Nov. 28th from 12:30-2:00 pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home, and other times at the home.

FUNERAL: Friday, Nov. 28th at 2:00 pm at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home Chapel.

INTERMENT: Will follow in Cleveland Memorial Park.
