CLOVER: Margie Benfield Jolley, 88, died Thursday, January 18, 2017 at her residence. A native of Gaston Co., she was born to the late Kenneth and Alice Mays Benfield. She was dedicated to her Lord and was an avid reader of her many bibles. She love listening to gospel and country music and especially Elvis Presley. She love to cook, crochet, sew and loved gardening. And a special thank you to her granddaughter, Dionna for always being there for her and pampering her by doing her hair and nails. Her family has been truly blessed by her love, caring and mentoring. She will be lovingly missed. We love you Mama!
PRECEDED: In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Jackson Jolley; son, Jimmy Clyde; sisters, Mabel Burris and Hazel Beatty; and brother JR Benfield.
SURVIVED: She is survived by her son Donald Jolley and wife Trish of Clover; daughters Rebecca Holcomb and Jackie Jolley, both of Clover; sister Dot Brigman of Grover, SC; five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
VISITATION: The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 23, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home.
GRAVESIDE SERVICES: Graveside services will immediately follow the visitation at Cleveland Memorial Park
