Marian "Maxine" Flournoy

KINGS MOUNTAIN: Maxine Flournoy, 55, died Tuesday, March 27, 2018 at Carolinas medical Center-Charlotte. She was born in Duplin Co. and was the daughter of Forest Turner and Betty Kennedy. She was a great mother and grandmother. Her door was always open to anyone needing help and would gladly give you the shirt off her back. She will be deeply missed by her family and all who knew her.

PRECEDED: She was preceded in death by her husband of 11 years, Charles Flournoy, Jr. and her sister Donna Culbertson.

SURVIVED: She is survived by her sons, Bradley Cavenaugh and wife Requila and Bryan Cavenaugh and wife Kristina, both of Kings Mountain; sister, Cinda Fussell of Kings Mountain; grandchildren, Jayden Cavenaugh, Landon Southards, Rowland Cavenaugh and Bentley Cavenaugh; and her cousin Jeanette Stacey.

FUNERAL SERVICE: A private funeral service will be held at a later date.
