Marie Hoyle

CHERRYVILLE: Marie Bridges Hoyle, 83, died Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at her home. A native of Cleveland County, she was the daughter of the late Oscar Lee and Ocie Cooper Bridges. Marie was a member of Buffalo Baptist Church. She retired from Kings Mountain Hospital, as a nurse, and she enjoyed reading. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Hoyle. She is survived by her daughter, Rita Strickland and husband Keith of Cherryville; sister, Deloris Ann Adams and husband Michael of Spartanburg; brother, Forest Bridges and wife Dot of Cherryville; grandchildren, Renota Isenhour and husband Matthew, Kristy Strickland and Misty Ledbetter; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Jaxson, John, Braden and Dalton; great-great grandchildren, Andrew Grayson and Ashton Ray; and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held 11am, Saturday, September 4, 2021 in Buffalo Baptist Church Cemetery, with the Revs. Dustin Mace and Max Turner Jr. officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
