Marshall Wells

KINGS MOUNTAIN- Marshall Wells, 95, of 708 Bridges Drive, passed away Monday November 2, 2015 at Carolinas Healthcare System-Kings Mountain. A native of York County, SC, he was the son of the late Albert Stevens and Mattie Allen Wells. Retired from Burlington Industries-Phoenix Plant, he worked with Cleveland County Recycle Center on Margrace road in Kings Mountain for many years.

PROCEEDED: In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by one son, Don Wells; two daughters, Vickie Wells and Ruth Wells Horn.

SURVIVED: He is survived by his wife of 71 years, Ethel Whetstine Wells of the home; one son, Steve Wells and wife Shirley of Kings Mountain; one daughter, Elaine Walters and husband Carl of Shelby; seven grandchildren, several great and great great grandchildren.

SERVICES: A graveside service will be held 2:30 pm Thursday at Mountain Rest Cemetery.

VISITATION: The family will receive friend 1-2:00 pm Thursday at Clay-Barnette Funeral Home of Kings Mountain.

CLERGY: Bishop Roger R. Woodard will officiate

INTERNMENT: Mountain Rest Cemetery
