Martha Ramey

KINGS MOUNTAIN: Martha Howard Ramey died Saturday, July 23, 2022 at Hospice at Wendover. Born in Gaston County, she was the daughter of the late James and Elizabeth Stepp Howard. Martha was a member of True Gospel Holiness Church and loved her granddaughters and spending time with family. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her half-sister, Irene Ponder; and half-brother, Junior Howard. She is survived by her loving husband of 25 years, Dennis Ramey of the home; daughter, Tammy Brown of Kings Mountain; and granddaughters, Ashlea Anthony and husband Austin and Lauryn Hodge. Funeral services will be held 2:00PM, Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at True Gospel Holiness Church with the Rev. Leanne Chapman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service, at the church. Burial will follow in Mountain Rest Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the church.
